'Cause, um, we're gonna talk about this a little later, but the, just some of the restraints that schools put on us, I feel like half of my ideas are just trying to think about how to get around the systems that I'm forced to be in.
You know? 'Cause I care about public school, and I care about public school kids, um, so I don't really want to leave that scenario.
But unfortunately, there are outdated systems that surround us in terms of grading and whatnot.
And I just love when this conversation goes up because I, I, you know, I too have gone to the more of a, a conversation.
So every piece, for instance, um, that my students wrote, uh, we-- they publish as m- as much as they want, right? And publishing in my room is when they, uh, type it up and print it out, right? And they put it in their portfolios, and then they reflect on their piece.
