Sam WolfeHostI started off just volunteering at Presbyterian Support ages ago as a one-on-one youth support worker.
And then I fell in love with the practice so much and I went on to work in mental health with Emerge Aotearoa.
I was on a wellbeing program for young people in their teens who had really complex mental health challenges that they were facing.
So, really tapped into creativity, which is something I absolutely love and I hold very close to my heart.
And yeah, I did that for a couple years and then just felt like I needed a bit of a change.
So, I got the job at the Kind Foundation and the 4C Centre as a youth worker there and also the 4C team lead.
Yeah, kind of very broad and kind of random, but young people were always held at the core of everything that I was doing, and I knew that's what I wanted to do with my mahi.
Also a business owner, so I got my floristry certificate a couple years ago and started my own micro flower farm with my mum, growing flowers on our rural property and then cutting them, drying them, selling them at markets.

And for the listeners who can't see what she's wearing and embracing, this recording is done in winter, really cold.

But Jazz, when I saw her come in, she's wearing this bright yellow, like, you know, warm kind of energy and just kind of ecstatic.
