Disappointing news, uh, for, for so many earlier this week, but obviously the, the right decision for the English Greyhound Derby champion.
Unfortunately, uh, Lenny's Eddie won't take his place on Saturday night's third round.
But, uh, I know from speaking to you earlier on in the week, uh, it's only a, a minor setback.
And, um, anyway, after the race, about twenty minutes after the race, his back seemed to go into spasm and that kind of thing.
He was taking something and that at the trap, and, um, and he was very sore on it and everything else.
Um, he's a wonderful young dog, and we would ask no more of him, but obviously the Irish Derby is our aim just now.
And I suppose just monitor his progress over the course of the next couple of weeks and, uh, see where his next target will be.
