Christina PengillyHostIf you follow me over on Instagram and potentially follow a couple of my friends, you would know that they are in the season of early motherhood.
Three of my close friends have all had their first baby in the last two to four months.
I totally get what people mean now when they say nothing prepares you for like your best friends having babies.
And I have best friends back in Adelaide who have had like babies as well.
But having – they've had them really kind of before we I guess like established incredibly close friendships other than a couple.
And now just being here with the girlfriends that are in my close circle and them becoming mums and just the way that I feel towards them and their babies, there's just like nothing like it.
And in that, I have had a lot of questions quite often around, you know, where I stand, where Cruz and I stand coming into becoming parents.
And then also address some of the questions that I do get online quite a bit.
And the first thing that I want to acknowledge is that this is obviously a very sensitive topic.
And I just want to note that if you are someone who is currently struggling with conceiving, if you've experienced loss, if this just isn't a conversation that you are ready for today, I am just sending you so much love.
And I'm just so aware of I haven't experienced it personally, but my heart just breaks for anyone who is navigating struggle in conceiving and all the rest because there's nothing that you can say to that other than, like, I'm just sending you so much love and, you know, I just hope that you get your miracle baby and I, yeah, I can't imagine, but I'm sending you so much love.
So if this is a conversation that isn't for you right now, that is absolutely perfect.
And I do also want to note that today's episode isn't me saying what's right or wrong or what I'm not coming on here to, you know, tell anyone what they should be thinking about before becoming a mum, if that's what you want, or, you know, what you should be focusing on, what you shouldn't, what you should want, what you shouldn't.
