Landi is living her best summer holiday in Greece, so consider this week’s episode a long voice note from Armani to one of her besties. She chats through 10 low-effort things that always make her…
So let's get to the actual topic I want to speak about and that is a glow up and I want to touch on both the light-hearted side of it but then also like a bit of a deeper side to it because I'm currently at a place in my life where like it's honestly the best place I've been in quite some time and with quite some time I mean 10 plus years so when I had to think about what I wanted to speak about and so on Landi kind of made the or had the idea of us just sending it's kind of a voice note from me or from Landi to one of our friends and In that, I was thinking, oh, what did I actually tell someone who really, like, actually made a difference in their lives? And one of the first things I could actually think of is this one time I put something on my close friends and it was just like tiny beauty tips just to give you a bit of a glow up.
And there's actually been so many people that told me, well, they really applied this and it made such a big difference or they really loved some of the tips and so on.
so I thought that's actually maybe something I can talk about but I also just had this topic and idea stuck in my head because I also feel like I feel so good at the moment because I'm really spiritually and emotionally and like psychologically in such a good space so even though you can definitely have a glow up just from the outside I'm so convinced that the glow up I think I had is just like in my personal opinion with the way I feel about myself um it's really because i'm so happy from the inside um but job let's start with the fun lighthearted stuff also sorry about my voice like if i sound a bit different i've literally been sick in bed the whole long weekend five days like i even um stayed at home today from work um i didn't go into office i mean So I was literally in bed for five days for the full long weekend.
That was literally my plans.
I think I begged Steve to just come up with me like twice, I think, to grab a red cappuccino at Seattle because I didn't even want to drink coffee.
So we just got red cappuccino with loads of honey, you know, to soothe my freaking throat that was so sore.
So yeah, I'm still not fully recovered, but I am just getting out of it.
And now that I'm in the car, I thought I'd start taking this voice note.
So anyways, on the lighthearted side, A few things that come to mind, I actually also met Liz but I'm in the car now so just on the top of my head.
One thing I definitely learned from my mom is that she must always wear lipstick and I think as a little girl that sounds so ugly or whatever because you think of lipstick like this bold red or orange or pink lip but even if it's just a nude color like I'm such a fan of a nude color lipstick but it has to be the right nude.
um but just always wear lipstick like guaranteed it will always just make you look
better
and in the mornings when i put on my makeup like i first apply my base and then i do my eyes for example and then i put a bit of um bronzer on and then blush but my look just never looks complete and still i actually until i actually put something on my lips so that's just proof that lipstick really really makes such a huge difference and it can be a lip tint it can be a lip gloss it can be like a tinted lip gloss it can be a i love this new thing you kind of call it a almost lipstick that's what i also referenced in one of our previous episodes that um clinique black honey almost lipstick um so that's just really really a i love vibe
