My first question for you: how would you describe the current state of digital transformation within the electronic component distribution industry? Do you see distributors approaching technology adoption differently today than they were maybe just say a few years ago?
So I'd say that our industry, the electronics industry specifically, is still lagging general movement towards adoption of digital transformation.
If you think about other industries like healthcare, health records, food industry, avionics, aerospace, to the extent that doesn't participate in electronics, uh, they're moving much faster than we are, I'd say, with less barriers to progress.
Which is interesting that the phrase that we always say in this industry is that we build rockets, but our systems that we use, you know, I'm still asked frequently when we engage a new customer what our fax number is.
If you look at the industry, the participants, there's definitely a bell curve where you have some entities that are, um, pushing the envelope aggressively and perhaps maybe a little too far ahead.
But in total, I'd say that we are lagging the industry, and there are definitely opportunities to accelerate, uh, digital transformation inside the electronics industry.
