SuperCoach Finals: Grand Final Edition. McCluggage is back! | The Phantom's Lair

Now, Al, let's talk about some of the crazy stories from the weekend and just a quick recap of the actual footy on the weekend.

So Fremantle taking out Sydney.

Some massive scores from some Sydney favourites, though, of course.

But thoughts on that game quickly.

I mean, just one of the best weekends of footy I can remember.

It was unbelievable.

Both games could have gone either way, just right down to the last couple of minutes.

The last, you know, 20 seconds in the case of the prelim on Saturday night.

So, yeah, love watching both of them.

And there were some great super coach performances.

And I might have just been slightly hoping Brisbane would get over the line because there's lots of really fun Brisbane players.

we can talk about today and to pick from Hawthorne it's been just a you know they've done amazingly well but tricky team when it comes to super coach because they're so even unless you you nail one like the wizard who just pulls one out of the bag um in a big game like that but yeah there's um there's lots of good names to talk about uh for grand final week and some some real super coach favorites uh you know that we've talked about all year and i've come back uh into the spotlight at the biggest time of year so that gives us some interesting options i think

Yeah, very exciting times.

And look, a bit of controversy, we'll say, on the weekend.

But this is just Supercoach Hour.

We're talking about our Supercoach team, so we don't need to go there.

As you said, some amazing games.

I'm sure there will be some upset supporters out there of the losing teams.

But for the winners, Brisbane and Freo through to the grand final, and we can look forward to picking some.

awesome players today now you spoke about the whiz now there's a few of the top scorers we'll go through shortly but funnily enough phantom and i last week our vetoes are the bottle of vetoes that we use we both stitched each other up we took out probably our best selections in some pods i vetoed the whiz and phantom vetoed his man huma cluggage who came in

the clutch so unbelievable stuff As controversial as it was, that's what came straight to my mind when he won that free kick.

You know, contested position, holding the ball, goal, you know, I don't know what the scaling was for that.

So yeah, Phantom missed out on his boy.

He's been pushing him all year.

Unbelievable.
