So you've got to really like stop and say, okay, does this, does this sound like me in this instance? Way back in like episodes one through 10 of the gutsy podcast, you know, I've gotten my voice a little bit higher and I'm talking to you like, okay, all right.

We love you, girl.

We love you.

Without day one, her, there would not be 500 episodes of the podcast.

Okay.

So we celebrate her.

We leave her up.

But I had to start realizing like this takes so much energy.

Like I am literally having to like put on a suit metaphorically to like be this facade, to be this personality, right? And then when I'm done, I'm exhausted physically and mentally.

My voice is literally tired.

My jaw hurts.

I don't want to do anymore.

And okay, I also don't want to create any more episodes because I know how much energy it takes, right? So that's what I mean by like asking yourself, is this really me? Is this who I want to be? Or am I trying to be something that someone else told me to be? Or am I trying to mimic something that's working for someone else? All good questions to kind of filter yourself through.

And so slowly but surely over time, I took off the mask.

I lowered my voice down into the natural tone that it's at.

I started to be more free flowing.

I started to use my colorful language.

I started to call things for what they were.

And guess why people come into my world? Because they just need someone to give it to them straight and also love and support them while they're doing it.

So you got to go through the filtration system.

If it doesn't feel right, change it.

You're allowed to do that.

Yes.
