Ep 262 What to Pack and Film on a Cruise Ship Inspection

My first kind of tips for this.

are if you have not been on a ship inspection before though it is a very short amount of time for all the things that you will be doing especially if you are going on a larger like mega ship like i'm talking about like an oasis class type ship on royal caribbean like a big ship that handles thousands of people is huge you want to make sure that you are prepared not only like with a But definitely make sure that you have comfortable shoes.

Because you are going to be walking your patootie off everywhere.

Because I have seen people who are wheelchair users also going on ship inspections.

And they do make certain accommodations.

So if you're kind of like, I need mobility... that you can always like ask your BDM about that information, but do know like things do go fast and hopefully you can like make a buddy or two.

So if like you're not like as quick as some other people might be, like you could just rely on some of the help of your other advisors who are there with you.

on that trip or on that ship inspection with you.

Day of, also, make sure that you have an extra battery pack.

And make sure that you have enough space on your phone or whichever device that you're using.

Or if you don't have enough space, have some way to be able to add space because, again, This is going to go by super quick.

You're going to be walking to and from here or there.

You just want to make sure that you're on and ready to do all the things.

Sometimes you are just going up and down stairs.

There's a lot of time that they will let us use the elevators.

And that's usually kind of like what I opt for personally because the elevators help save me some steps, especially after you've been like going back and forth all over these different kinds of ships.

Also be prepared, you may not get cabin footage.

That is definitely something that I would want you to get when you're at a ship inspection, but you may not be able to get it because either you don't have enough time on the ship or there are just not cabins available.

Also be aware that even if cabins are available, suites might not be available for similar reasons.

So you have to be flexible.

Please do not be rude.

Like come with the right attitude because your BBM or a BDM in your area is taking out their time and sometimes on like weekend days.

So they're having to work extra hours to give you this opportunity and explore these ships.

Of course, they're doing it because they want you to sell more of their product and you're doing it because you want to increase your own sales.
