When Survival Ends- Grief After Mold

While physical healing can begin after remediation, the emotional healing often takes much longer. Together, they explore the complex process of adjusting to life after chronic illness, navigating resentment and forgiveness, coping with memory loss, grieving missed milestones with their children, and learning how to move forward when the world expects you to simply “be grateful” and move on. After spending months, or even years, focused on surviving, many people are surprised by the emotions that surface once they’re finally safe. This episode is a reminder that healing isn’t just physical, and grieving what you’ve lost doesn’t mean you’re not making progress.
