Broughton Tapes #5 The journey home

That beyond this apparent drama of awfulness, good remains intact as it always was, unchanged from the beginning, beyond space and time.

Here we fall, but space and time are products of our falling into separation.

Into separation which hence the results.

The wages of sin.

Sin is the effect of our absence from the presence of God.

In this world of sin, the power of darkness reigns supreme.

This world is ruled by what's called the prince of darkness, which if you come and consider it carefully, is me and the ego with my I, me, mine, which advertises my separation from this.

We go around broadcasting to the world that I am a separate being when I, when we talk of I, I, me, mine, if we did but realize it.

Anyway, that sets the scene into this prince of light, the prince of goodness, the prince of love, the prince of righteousness descended to lift those that believe on him back.

A bit like a train pulling a, pulling a line of trucks.

If we hold onto this, keep coupled to the engine, we get drawn too.

If we disconnect, we're left behind.

That's how it works.

So when we pray, we use the word Jesus, which sort of reconnects us and the engine buff, buff up the way to heaven.

So Jesus is called the savior because he saves us on this bit, pulls us home.
