This is a Non-Sleep Deep Rest protocol inspired by the work of Andrew Huberman. If you're an entrepreneur who is constantly solving problems, making decisions, thinking about the next thing and…
So for the next few minutes, there's absolutely nothing you need to do.
No messages to check, no calls to answer.
Just give your nerve system these next couple of minutes to recharge.
So find a comfortable position.
You can lie down or sit in a chair while your body feels fully supported.
And when you're ready, gently close your eyes.
Take one slow breath in through your nose, hold it at the top, and then exhale slowly through your mouth, through thinly pressed lips.
And then again, slow inhale through the nose, Hold it at the top.
And then a long, relaxed exhale.
Imagine you let go of everything.
Now one more time.
Breathing in.
Hold it at the top.
And then letting everything soften as you breathe out.
Now allow your breath to return to its natural rhythm.
Notice that you're sinking deeper into the surface that you're sitting or lying on.
And if you notice your thoughts drifting away, simply return to my voice.
There is nothing to control and there is nothing to force right now.
Just notice your breathing.
Notice the air entering your body and notice the air leaving your body.
Observe how your body is starting to relax.
