Join us as my friend Rachel Cardenas (Owner of What's Up, Dallas Podcast, What's Up Dallas Magazine & Little Moments with Raejay) jumps on with us to share her story of God’s hand being on her life…
Rachel CardenasGuestShane FranksHostUm, so w- where we're at now a- after getting through all of this process, you, you finally got to a point where n- you're, you're now working on, um, not just being healed.
I, I, I feel like even you get to a certain point, uh, there's still some things that can be worked on, uh, if, if we're open with ourselves, just out, out of just being natural because there are so many hidden hurts there that we don't even realize because we're ... our hearts are chambers, our minds are chambers.
There's things hidden, you know, i- in the dark, uh, that we ended up kind of avoiding, uh, and neglecting to, to look at.
But nonetheless, you are in a position now where you're helping other people with the same situation.
You're, you're, you know, you're opening up different platforms, you, and different venues, uh, where, where... avenues where people can be, where people can be healed, where people can be heard, where they can express themselves.

Um, you know, even my, my daughters, who are moms now, uh, and also wives, they, they tell me that what I went through and the way that I'm shining towards them now, like teaching them that they don't have to live in the trauma, 'cause they too had h- their own trauma from the same person but different.

Um, they, uh, they tell me that what I'm saying matters, and the fact that I'm trying to help other women out there understand they don't have to go through that, they don't have to live in that mindset anymore.

Trauma, trauma addiction is actually an addiction, and, uh, I think a lot of people take that for granted.
