Take this game separately, like ignoring the eight straight, ignoring the streak, ignoring all the storylines that are going on.

If you're just looking at this game solely from a neutral perspective game-wise, it was a fantastic game.

I can't really remember any explosive plays in that first half, but they moved the ball well.

There were several moments during the game where I thought Kentucky might be out of it, where they didn't look strong, but somehow they stayed just in it enough to keep it going.

I can say for sure that two point conversion, as you would expect, took all of the air out of the stadium.

But even during the game, it felt like Gamecock fans really until late third to fourth quarter were hesitant to get into the game agreed um which was really strange to me before the game they weren't very loud they were allowed for sandstorm but aside from that you know during the intro video they weren't very loud um when they were up 14-0 they weren't very loud when they were up 17-0 it seemed like they were waiting till it was safe to cheer And ultimately, I guess you see why.

So it's interesting that everyone kind of felt that universally here at Willie B tonight.

Because I hate to say it, Jared, but I think we all were thinking the same thing.

When South Carolina got up 17 to nothing, it was like, okay, they're playing great.

But it was about can they sustain it? Can they keep it up? Can they put their foot on the gas? Can they shut the door? The same conversations we've been having over and over and over and over.
