The Greatest Episode Since Sliced Bread

Thanks for joining us this week, uh, where I was challenged to become an inventor of sorts.

You, uh, you are a creative man.

You are...

Invention's an interesting word, too, because is it creating a new product? Is it actually tinkering in the lab to make something that has never existed before? So what do you think of when you hear the word inventor?

Uh, you know, things come to mind like Doc Brown-

Of course

... from Back to the Future.

So.

[laughs] Everyone's favorite inventor.

Th- things along those lines.

Um, yeah, I mean, I think there's a component...

When, when we were kids, the idea of an inventor was some sort of scientist in a lab.

But now, to me, I think, uh, inventor and entrepreneur have a lot of overlap.

Uh, and I just think of someone that's coming up with a new idea, or an improvement to an existing idea.

Okay.

Uh, and just as you're thinking about inventions, what, what are some of your faves?

That have ever existed?

Sure.

I-

Open-ended question

... probably the one I use more than any, you know, than anything would be our phones.

Uber, uh, nowadays-

Uber, number two.

That's amazing

... nowadays, uh, technology really drives all invention.
