What happens when life changes in an instant? In this episode of *Soul Sessions*, I sit down with capacity coach and breathwork facilitator **Kieron Sauboorah** to explore the accident that…
yeah i agree with you there kieran and i think even in in my work at the moment as a coach you know everything comes back to the emotional um capacity um and i'm sure when it comes to how we see ourselves our image it's not just in one size fits all pardon the pun
yeah the the analogy i use with my clients is Well, if you take an average person off the road, most people are walking around overwhelmed and stressed already.
So there are couples essentially this big and their cups are already full.
And anything you add already full cup is going to overspill and overwhelm you even more.
And it's why most people can't do the very basic minimal things of what we would deem as good health or improving habits.
But the problem is most people use motivation, willpower, and grit and determination as a way of starting something.
And you might see an initial result, which will give you that bit of motivation again.
And the problem with this level is that people are already holding so much criticism and shame and consistently having this voice in their head that's so extremely loud that they don't need anything else to feel worse than they already feel.
They already have that pretty voice that's extremely loud and they hold their own shame.
So when they feel like a failure for not being able to do something, it just adds to the shame.
think that's really a great way to look at it because yeah, of course, adding all of the tips that we get online now about weight loss and then not having that emotional awareness, it's very dangerous, isn't it? People go for the quick fix and then it's not a long-term solution, is it? Because it really, quite frankly, people want to lose weight and let it stay off.
They don't want it just to happen forever.
