But what I wanted to talk to you today about was my diet update, really.
I thought I'd just give you a quick update on how things are going.
And they're not going great, to tell you the truth, because I've fallen off the wagon a little bit.
Now, I took my eye off the ball, and what's happened is all the nice food has got the better of me.
So I have been, when I started the diet, I lost a good few pounds, as I've said before.
I lost two stone maybe, and I went down to my lowest I got down to was about 200 pounds.
which was great.
I was really pleased with that.
And then I got a little bit complacent.
I haven't been walking as much.
I haven't been doing as much exercise.
So that's obviously a factor.
um and the i know it's the excuse but the reason being is because um the weather got so hot that we weren't walking the dog as much as we were before because uh it was actually too hot for him and exhausting him and um it was just uh unkind and unfair to take him on walks because um he's the sort of dog which uh he can't not run he runs and runs and runs and he's a He's mad at just chasing balls and things.
So you have to actually stop him from exhausting himself because he's got no sense.
So anyway, we weren't walking as much as we used to.
So that was obviously a factor.
And then the other factor is I like food.
And so there's little things just started slipping.
Yeah.
There would be, I mean, as I said before, I cut out a lot of things that I shouldn't have been eating, like biscuits and cheese and cakes and all little sort of nice little nuggets.
But they've all been slipping back slowly.
So my diet is still pretty good.
I'm trying to...
Eat sensibly, eat healthily, which I am doing.
A lot of vegetarian dishes as well as chicken and fish.
