But yeah, so today I get an email.

It's from Spotify for Creators, and I also get that, and then I get the pop-up on the app because, of course, I have the app on my phone.

For anyone who doesn't know, it's not just Spotify.

We started with, years ago, Anchor, which was a division of Spotify at that time.

That was their podcast division.

And what they've done is they've evolved nicely, I think, as opposed to some of these other software programs that we've used, but evolved nicely into now they're Spotify for creators.

It's all their podcasting.

They do all this different shit.

So that's who our host is.

So they're the ones that distribute our episode fucking everywhere.

Mm-hmm.

and so i get this email and it's like oh by the way um you know one of your episodes has copyrighted music in it and i knew which one it was right off the bat i'm like it has to be that one but i'm like there's no fucking way you know right so i i look at it look at the emails like respond now i'm going in and i go into spotify do all these different things and it gives you three options that you can respond with you can't make a note or anything like that just three things one says um i have the copyright or the licensing agreement which we don't right um one says um this was never in our episode right it wasn't me right you know that sort of thing that's old behavior Yeah, exactly.

And even if I wanted to do that, there's no way I could just, I can't go in and erase it, you know? Um, well I can, but we'll get into that in a second.

Okay.

So the, the middle one, which is the one I chose was something like, um, you know, we only used it for this amount of time.

We only used it as a parody.

We, whatever it was, I'm like, well, I don't have any other fucking choice.

So it's that, you know, I

know it's not

one, it's not three.

So I'm, I gotta choose, you know, option, option two.

Um, And then basically they're like, uh, you know, just automated things like, well, if we need anything else, we'll get back to you.

You know, we haven't done anything with the episode yet, but you'll get an email if.

So I started doing a little bit of research and I, I got, um, I got the, and the thing with this, I made it kind of clear in the post.

Cause I want to make this clear to everyone too.
