May 26, 2026 · 7 min · 9 segments
In this episode of Sligo Community Voices, Val chats to Nigel - the Marketing & Development Manager of The Hawk's Well Theatre in Sligo town. The Hawk's Well is a huge part of the Sligo community…
Well, fair play to you for opening that up.
So now I want to go on to being a member of the PPN, and how h- has that helped the Hawkswell?
You know, it's, it's been great.
It's, um, such a great way to network, share ideas.
There's just something about the PPN as well.
It's like, you know, r- r- really nice form of direct democracy to the council.
We love being a part of it and, yeah, great for networking, sharing ideas, and, uh, working with other people.
And it's amazing.
There's so many different community groups out there.
And as I've said on the podcast before, if there's a community group that's listening, it's free to join the PPN, and I'd highly recommend that you do, 'cause they're a really great organization.
And is there anything else you'd like to say about your work or about the Hawkswell before we move on?
