Listening to the Silence | June 21, 2026

And thanks for the folks who have been holding it down in my absence.

We kind of decided that in light of the pandemic, I don't know, the unusual schedule that maybe we just keep things really simple this month and sit in silence.

And so I'm going to lean into that.

And so I have a few thoughts about that I'd like to share, but just generally speaking, You know, a wonderful respite, a wonderful homecoming, a wonderful place to return to.

And a meditative practice is just to sit, just to sit.

It's actually probably the ultimate practice is to stop and to slow.

And there's a particular power in doing that.

in community and that's um what i feel so grateful to have here with each and every one of you and anyone who might listen on on the podcast there's going to be a big gap of nothing on the recording but maybe you'll hear the the silence of our breath and our community uh gathering together i just wanted to share really quickly this anecdote i um I've shared with you that this last year, my partner and I purchased a home in Michigan and it's been a real fun adventure into adulting for me.
