Ep 366. Back to School for Your Business: The Fall Reset Every Owner Needs

All right, and we're back.

I hope everyone's doing good.

Welcome back to the podcast.

And, you know, it's that time of year.

Everyone is talking about back to school.

Kids are getting their stuff, their clothes, their backpacks, their notebooks, their schedules.

And we're getting out of summer mode and we're getting back into routine.

And, I mean, there's always an exciting time for me.

Kind of sad summer's over, but also happy for a change of pace.

And...

It got me thinking maybe our businesses need a back to school season, too.

And of course, we do.

We jump right in with our busiest time of year besides the spring, getting in the field, doing the aerations and overseedings.

And it's that time of year.

It's easy for us to get sloppy.

It's easy for us.

We've been grinding most of us since March, maybe even through the winter if you're doing snow.

And we've made it through the spring rush.

We've survived the heat of summer.

We've dealt with breakdowns, employees, negative reviews, weather, customers, issues, unexpected things that have happened.

And you know what? September gives us a fresh start.

And I look to it for a kind of a time to gain new customers and We can make some meaningful changes, but we also we're time to identify what working and what what isn't.

I think I want to jump in and do it back to school on our business and and let's get into it.
