As I'm listening to your stories, I'm hearing your passion just come through so strongly on both sides.

And you both have different things to offer that kind of make a complete package here.

First of all, Danielle, I'm a science geek and I don't know, I feel like we could be best friends.

I just made this crazy change to cosmetology, you know, and it fits because there's science in what we do with hair and there's science in what you do with skin.

As I was listening to both of you share your stories and thank you for your vulnerability in doing that, it brought up a lot of emotions because I think that probably almost everyone on this planet has had a story that revolves around Skin issues, right? Acne, aging, whatever it is.

For me, the most dramatic time was actually when I was in cosmetology school and I had a one-year-old child.

And I don't know to this day if it was hormones from having a baby or if it was stress from being in school.

But what I know is that much like Kaylee, much like you said, I got that cystic acne and it was just, it was horrendous.

And so I was like, what in the world? Here I am in my 20s and this is now like kicking in.

And she said, I'm going to schedule an appointment with a dermatologist for you and I'll pay for it and I'll take you there.

And so I ran and I knew I probably needed a clean face for them to take a look because like Kaylee, I was taking on the makeup to cover it up.

And so I ran into the bathroom right before school got out, cosmetology school, and I washed my face so that I was ready to go to the dermatologist.

And one of the instructors who meant well saw me and saw just red, swollen, bumped face.
