Um, so my wife and I, we just bought new living room furniture, which you might be saying, "Okay, that's boring." Hear me out, um, because...

I don't need any more information." My wife, on the other hand, spent three months after we decided to pull the trigger, um, on new furniture, she spent three months researching all the furniture shops in the Tulsa area, where we live, and then doing research on all the reviews and all the products, and asking friends, and started going to furniture shops and looking around.

And I'll have to say also, we have had [chuckles] the same living room furniture for almost 20, right at 20 years.

And [chuckles] we didn't wanna get new furniture until we didn't have a dog anymore, and our dog, you know, our dog went to puppy heaven a year ago now, and we don't have little babies anymore.

And, you know, we just didn't wanna spend money on something that was gonna get ruined.

And yeah, we've just been saving for a little while, and told my wife we skipped, you know, couch number two and three, so we're, let's just pay for couch number four, as in let's open up the budget a little bit and let's pay for it.

And so we finally started going to some of these furniture shops, and I noticed there's a big difference between your big box furniture shop and some of these custom furniture shops.

And I tell you about the kinds of buyer type that my wife is, that I am, because I think it matters.

Um, I would say that this would've been kind of a top-of-the-line premium furniture experience that we ended up walking through.

We're not in the, like, billionaire class or anything like that, but we understand kinda high-end purchases and we're moving into that, you know, time of our marriage.

We've done well with our, our finances, and we just want good furniture that's gonna last us.

My wife would rather have lawn, lawn chairs than cheap furniture that's uncomfortable.
