But if you don't know, I'm planning this event coming up in October, the Shifting Focus Experience, and this is not an ad for that right now, but I last week made a post saying, hey, I'm looking for videographers and photographers that are interested in giving me B-roll and raw footage in exchange for a $2,000 ticket to this event.

I tagged several of our guest speakers, of our sponsors, and... one of the people responded back to me and said, I want to read it because it really just made me upset.

So they responded back, they re-shared to their story and they said, I got some flack from people for it not being a paid position.

And they went on to say some other things, but like the sentiment that there's these people, like if you share something and you're looking for free help or for somebody that's wanting to do something in exchange for exposure that you're all of a sudden bad or that that's not right.

Why are you asking for something for free? Why are you asking for something for cheap? You're talking to us about raising our prices and all of a sudden you want us to do something for free.

I am not trying to pocket a lot of money while I am making somebody do a lot of work for me.

A lot of people don't know the amount of times and things that I've done so that I can progress my business and that I still do to progress my business that I do pro bono for either the experience, the accolade, the exposure that it gets me.

Now, if somebody just reaches out to you And says, hey, will you film my wedding? I am an influencer.

If you're out there and you see somebody posting something saying anyone that wants to sign up for this to do this thing, and they lay it out what they're going to get, I think you just need to shut up and mind your own business for real.

And maybe you think that educators or someone like me are like, sleazy and slimy and just trying to get free stuff from people that are unwilling.

But as I've elevated into a premium market, I have seen and heard time and time again.
