That'd be Chris, my husband.
And yeah, I'm all by myself sitting in this basement tonight to record this episode.
So we had said last week that we might not release an episode this week, and it really kind of set up the perfect surprise for me.
Not only is today, well, today that you're listening, September 2nd, our anniversary, but it's also episode number 17.
And that's really cool because we got married in the year 2017.
Monday, today that I'm recording, Chris is not home.
He's on his layover for work.
And I thought this was the perfect opportunity to do a surprise episode because it just felt like the stars aligned between knowing we weren't recording this week and being the 17th episode.
And here we are nine years later on our anniversary.
And I'm always looking for something that I can do to show my love.
And this seemed like a really good way, especially because recording this podcast is free and I'm offering a free gift, which he understands.
Gift giving is not our love language, but words of affirmation I know can go a long way with some people and especially Chris.
So yeah, I thought this would be a really cool way to do a little something extra for our anniversary and celebrate nine years together.
