I know if you're listening to this podcast, there's a level of discomfort that you're feeling in some area of your life.
And is that discomfort, this feeling of you're not meant to do it or it actually for you and it's discomfort or uncomfortable because God's bringing you into something that's new and you're just really not sure if you're ready and usually when he's bringing you into something new it's something that's a bit more right and it's so funny because so many of you message me and tell me that you've been praying And asking God for more, you know, whatever that means, whatever that looks like for you and your business.
But then it's wild how then like when he does it and he starts to give you more, we can self-sabotage or we can... be complaining because now suddenly our plates are really full and we feel like we have, we've bitten off more than we can chew.
And I really want to just like sit with you for a minute and have this real conversation because that discomfort that you feel is oftentimes the like growth zone and the God zone.
And I remember for myself, right? This was way back when I was kind of first getting my feet wet in business and And I got into a mastermind of women that were making six, seven, eight figures, whatever, and I was not.
And I remember being around them and I loved it and I loved hearing all the stories and it inspired me for what was possible.
But then I remember going home and sitting down and being like, man, I just feel so uncomfortable.
and i was like no like it doesn't really feel like that it feels more like pain like it it's not this like romanticized like oh i'm growing into what god's called me to you know that's like we like romanticize it but the truth is that discomfort those prayers that you've been praying that stretch that you've been feeling it oftentimes is the lord especially if you've been seeking god you've been in prayer you've been talking to him that when that growth comes, sometimes we can be like, oh, this isn't for me, I'm not ready, and we can shut it down.
And I want to encourage you to stay in the fire and to stay in that place of discomfort and even ask God, Lord, what are you doing in me in this discomfort? I want to share with you Isaiah 43, 19.
