With that being said, we are kicking this episode off with 10 ways to prevent off-season burnout.
Most people that come to me, they're like, I just want to live a better lifestyle.
I fucking put in the work week to week and I don't feel like it directly translates to how I look.
Now, a big part of building that dream physique for most people watching this, even if you're like, hey, I don't like the muscle you look, I'm not trying to get like jacked.
typically there is a component to muscle building that needs to happen to have curves, to have shape without having to gain body fat.
So if that's you, if you're like, I am at the point where I've tried to get as lean as I can physically get, that I can mentally tolerate, and it just seems like... seems like nothing i do actually gets me to that physique there's a good chance that muscle a lack of muscle is the problem but on the other side of that a lot of people they think that fat loss they think that's the thing that's going to really be like a punch to the gut it's actually the off season it's the growth phase it's the intentional build that is where a lot of people struggle because in actuality you're doing the thing that you've worked so hard to not do you are trying to gain weight you are not getting that reward that hit of dopamine every week when the weight goes down and some how some way you just gotta keep persevering if you clicked on this video there's a good chance that you're either going into an off season maybe currently maybe you just started one Maybe you're in the thick of it and you feel like you're about to burn out.
The thing is, I want to break down why burnout, why those feelings creep up, where they come from, what I recommend that you do when you start experiencing them and ways to prevent that burnout even before you start the build itself.
But when I say off season, all I mean is a period of non-dieting, a non-deficit, a non-cut period.
Now, it's not prep, it's not fat loss, but it doesn't automatically mean that you are going to gain weight rapidly.
For most people, this is the stretch where you're probably trying to build muscle.
Because in actuality, you're not going to build very much muscle if you're in a fat loss phase.
If you're dieting, if you're trying to get smaller and building muscle, it doesn't really.
