And I said at the last of the last podcast, I was going to ask a question because you're, you think about mastering business by mastering life, a book that you first wrote.

And you think about this other one, the 40 over 40 tips to maximize health and productivity as your company's skills through time.

What is chiropractor? Your third generation, what does that have to do with this?
Well, and I'll just correct your language chiropractic is but the there's the interesting thing on chiropractic chiropractic is unique in health care, Steve, in that we're the only health care profession that's actually founded on a philosophy, that the body is a self-healing, self-regulating organism and underlying that.
And in the entire, there's a whole deductive reasoning piece behind that and an inductive science to study it that we work through those principles.
But it started with what Dr. D.D. Palmer was trying to do was he was trying to find the cause of all disease in mankind, which a lot of people were trying to do in the late 1800s.
And he found that removing interference, adjusting the segments of the spine and removing interference was certainly affecting a lot of different things.
We have records through the 17 and 1800s of different... individuals, be it healthcare or not, trying to do stuff because they knew the spine was certainly involved in the body's ability to do this.
But when we really look at that and we start to look at these principles that chiropractic is based on, when we start to talk about mastering business, well, the interesting thing about a business is a business oftentimes, even if it's an individual like you and me, we're going to incorporate, meaning we're going to make like a body.
We have a brain, which is usually, well, we can argue whether the CEO and executive board are a brain, but It depends who you ask, right? But there's going to be parts to that.
There are systems that work then, which is sort of like the neurology going through that on how to buy products or how to serve customers and how to interact with the environment.
And in many places, they ask for feedback, which is kind of like getting a sensory input.
And then they also have, in a corporation, you're going to have people numbers that are going to give you feedback to tell you do we need to adapt our sales are down therefore we need to do this and and you've got you've got like frontline workers which are kind of like the cells and working like the blood vessels and you know certainly there's communication streams going through and you've got middle management which is sort of the organs and some of the reflexes that are working to to make things happen without needing constant input from up above and And then you sort of have the puppet masters up here that are saying, okay, we're going to go do this.
you if you have a if your body's breaking down the brain does now in that taking it as an organ let's take it a little more esoteric or a little more psychological and and there's a mind behind that too and dr palmer and and his son bj and his son david and a lot of us that study the philosophy of this go yes there's a mind there's an intelligence that's that's sort of underlying in our physical being That's keeping it controlled in the background while our conscious and educated self tries to screw it up.
