City - A Monumental Sculpture

Hours from the nearest stoplight, across the vast stretch of Nevada's desert where the horizon seems to bend beneath an endless sky, something unexpected begins to emerge from the earth.

At first, it doesn't look like a city at all.

There are no buildings, no streets, no signs of civilization.

Instead, enormous geometric forms rise from the landscape as if they have always belonged there.

The silence is profound.

The wind carries across ancient valleys and every step crunches against the desert floor as you wander deeper into a place simply known as City.

A monumental work of art created by Michael Heiser over the course of more than 50 years.

Walking through city feels like visiting a sculpture and more like exploring the ruins of a civilization from another world.

Massive mounds, towering walls, and carefully sculpted earthworks stretch across more than a mile of remote desert, casting long shadows beneath the Nevada sun.

There is no obvious beginning or ending, no plaque telling you exactly what to think.

Instead, you're left to experience it for yourself.

As you move through the vast spaces between these colossal forms, time seems to slow.

The scale is humbling, the isolation unforgettable.

And for a moment, you can't help but wonder if you've stumbled upon something ancient, futuristic, or perhaps both at the same time.

One of the largest and most ambitious works of art ever created, City is a mysterious landscape so vast and remote that most Americans have never heard of it.

Today, we're stepping inside this extraordinary place where the boundaries between sculpture, architecture, and imagination begin to disappear.
