Tell Us How You Feel : Failed Execution

Last week we were talking about, uh, the failed execution of Christa Pike.

So, uh, the, uh, Tennessee prison chief, he's resigning because of a failed execution.

You know, they was trying to get her up out of here, and, um, you know, something with the needles, the IV, and two attempts didn't work.

You know, and it didn't work.

They had to rush her to the hospital while the doctors and nurses are trying to save her life.

Yeah, I said that.

Save her life.

They trying to save her life.

They job is not to take nobody out, they job is to save the life.

The execution failed, and this is not the first.

This is twice this has happened, this year.

Two failed attempts of the execution.

They put the little stuff in the veins and they want, you know, they wanna execute folk, and it's not working right.

So, Pike is unconscious and on the ventilator, and it makes you wonder, what is your take and thoughts on the execution, the death penalty? Now, back when she was 18, I guess her and her boyfriend, you know, she's in jail for the murder of, uh, her classmate.

Yeah.

So, here it is.

You're on death row.

The execution failed.

You did take a life, that's the sentence they gave you.

It failed twice.

Should they try again? Should they, it be an- another attempt? I mean, she in the hospital.

They trying to, they keeping her to pre- to preserve her.
