Jon continues our short vision series as we consider how to generously play our part in all that God is doing.
Life is short.
Therefore, you and I, we can actually live with an eternal perspective on our lives.
And can I encourage you, if you've not yet said yes to Jesus, and you're here today, and you would like to put your faith and trust in Him, I wanna give you an opportunity to do that at the end of this talk.
Life is short, and God loves you, and He wants you to know that, and He wants to show you.
Would you say yes to Him later today? And for those of us who know and follow Jesus, one of the things that we will, um, learn as we look back on our lives, and when we specifically look back in the area of generosity, we'll learn two things about our money.
First is this: what we earn and accumulate on this side of the grave stays on this side of the grave.
It doesn't go anywhere, uh, beyond that.
And the second thing that we will learn about money is this: we will never regret a time where we chose generosity.
We will only regret the times where we missed it.
So how do each of us grow as generous people here today? How do we as a community grow in our generosity, become the kind of people that we spoke about last week, the kind of people, you and me, that display the splendor of the Lord's generosity to a world in need? So firstly, uh, I believe that generosity, it always involves courage.
