I'm part of a run group, but I don't do any in-person part of run coaching at all.

And I do see how your own training could really be impacted by having so much in-person.

I'm assuming in the treadmill classes you are not running during it or you are.
Actually, when Peloton was auditioning way back when, I was like, I don't know about that.
And I had found when I was starting out that, yeah... it's really hard when you're running 40 to 50 miles per week for everybody else.
And then how in the world do you fit in your own recovery, your own speed workouts, your own things.
Um, when I teach treadmill classes and I still do now, I've been with Equinox for, um, six years, seven years, um, at this point.
There is some demoing that sometimes happens in some formats, whether it's some strength work with a kettlebell or a band.
But, yeah, it's lazy coaching compared to what I used to do, which, again, is – incredible thing as a run coach right to be able to pick and choose how we use our bodies while also not having to say no to supporting others along the way

I mean, first off, I tell a run coach not to undervalue their worth, not to try to lowball themselves because I know those apps are inexpensive and expensive.
