So taking a step back, I'm coming up on 10 years since I left my full-time job.

I was actually in corporate finance when I left my job, but I started my career in public accounting as a CPA at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

I did like elements of accounting because I'm kind of nerdy and like numbers and reconciling, but the job itself was not for me.

jobs going from public accounting I quit my job by backpack through Southeast Asia came back I went into a smaller public accounting firm then I went to corporate accounting at Crunch Fitness and then I went into senior as a senior financial analyst at a biotech company here in San Diego so I did quite a few things.

Not only do I not love sitting in a cubicle all day and being tied down to a nine to five schedule, I don't really love the actual work I was doing and I didn't feel passionate about it.

But what I did feel passionate about was running, learning about running, talking about running, helping other people's run better, helping other people eat healthier, eating healthy.
