Usually it's a running podcast and you're invited to speak on a topic or speak about your story.

When you are a guest on someone's podcast, you want to be memorable and you want people to think of you.

Ideally, you want them to also think of you as an expert or have connected with you in some way so that they go on, they follow you, they potentially share the podcast or they go and sign up for coaching with you.

But either way, when we go on a podcast, we're really not necessarily thinking about how can I get people to hire me as a coach.

How can I get people to remember me? How can I add value and how can I entertain someone? I think this is one of the things that is often overlooked by podcast guests and is that when you speak on a podcast, it's an entertainment source.

People are listening to this while they're running, while they're cooking dinner, while they're out living their lives and they're choosing to spend time with you.

And if you can entertain them in some way while also potentially giving them a little bit of an insight or learning, that is far more important than you knowing all everything.

And so hopefully this will be a pretty short episode, but this will give you just...

A little bit of perspective or insights on what to do when you are a podcast guest, how to make the most of it, and really why you should go out and try to get on some podcasts.
