It's g- gonna be brilliant to catch up with, with Sinfield, who- who's been honored so, so rightfully, uh, on account of his amazing work in, in memory of his great mate, Rob Burrow, and the MND, uh, foundation, My Name's Doddie, and all that he's doing to raise awareness and try and find a cure for that debilitating condition.
And just getting the sense from being here, speaking to backroom staff, speaking to some of the England players, we'll hear, hear from them all through the week, their challenge is pretty simple.
They can talk all they like about, or we can talk all we like about going back to play Fiji, Argentina, this, that, and the other, but they're here in South Africa.
They've got a, the best team in the world waiting for them, who have rolled out all their big guns.
There's, there's, the ultimate respect is to know that you're being taken seriously, and the team selection from Rassie Erasmus, uh, is the best that he's got available.
And England will have to do everything they've got and a little bit more to get over the line.
So I, I suspect they know the size of the challenge that presents itself to them.
But hopefully, the, the, within the camp, whether we get to hear about it or not, a real excitement about potentially they can make history on Saturday.
Uh, completely unfancied and supposed to get steamrollered by, uh, an increasingly isolated South Africa at that point.
And a, a g- good handful of those players would've gone back to South Africa with the Lions to go unbeaten in '74.
