In this episode of the Rox Lyfe podcast, we chat with Lauren Armstrong, who recently won the women’s Pro race at HYROX Birmingham in an incredible 58:50. Lauren is a 36-year-old mum of two who works full time as a data analyst. She’s made huge progress since her first HYROX in 2024, and is now targeting the Elite 15 while fitting training and racing around family life. We discuss her Birmingham win, how she makes the most of her training time, and how injury setbacks helped her improve areas she might otherwise have neglected. Lauren also shares the changes behind her station improvements, her approach to race fuelling, and the approach to tapering that might surprise you. Plus, we chat about building self-belief and what it means to show her children what’s possible. It was a great chat with a great athlete, and I think you’ll really enjoy it. 🔗 Subscribe for more episodes 💥 ***Supporters of this Episode*** 🎒 **Built For Athletes** – Premium backpacks trusted by 150,000+ athletes.
