We have our first guest of the season, and it's a cracker with Cam Dodson talking us through all things Beziers, becoming a pro through the US College system, and the mythical allure of the Aurillac…
Cam DodsonGuestWe're going to, for reasons that will become clear, talk first up about Pro Day Dirt.
The round just gone.
Look from the outside that it could be a good one.
And so it proved.
Five away wins, I think.
A couple of real squeaky ones, last minute drama, some points.
And yeah, I think a bit of a show of flexing of muscle from the quote unquote big boys of the league.
I think five might be, it may have happened once when we've been doing this podcast.
I feel like last year there was something similar, but it's got to be up there.
It's
definitely four a
couple
of times.
But yeah, five feels, does feel unprecedented.
Yeah.
Yeah, it's five.
Sorry, I thought it might be six then.
I mean, it wasn't that far off six, but yeah.
I guess kicking off with the Cantal-Currez derby on the Thursday night, I've seen highlights of basically all the game because I downloaded them for the flight.
So I just worked my way through them on the flight back, worked through the YouTube pilots.
Happy days.
But the, uh, yeah, sorry.
The Auriac game, there was a really good, well, breathe one with a late kick from John Cooney and the penalty is just so, so sloppy.
Like it's just round the fringe of a ruck offside that outside the 22, there was no threat.
I don't know who it is.
