Yeah, it's one of those situations where you have to be aware of what you're entering into, of course, and making sure that you have your credit and everything cleaned up.

And there's – one of the things I wanted to make sure that we mention is folks start to look around.

I really would not suggest necessarily that you go to one of these sites on the Internet where you can type in all of your information and you wait for all the people to call you with all the great deals that you're going to get because – I tell you what, if you try something along those lines, you have no idea who you're going to get phone calls from.

And I think that they've cleaned this up a little bit since I was in the mortgage industry.

But there's still a lot of programs out there that nibble around subprime, that nibble around some of these areas with people with disabilities.

credit score somewhere, not quite perfect, but that are good enough that you can get some programs that may not be necessarily the best for the potential buyer or for the refinance person from a company that may not have all of the tools available to them that someone like Star USA Federal Credit Union could have.

So you have to really be careful of the programs that you're being approached with out there.
People don't realize that when they're applying online for something like that, they're not going necessarily to a mortgage broker.
Um, they're going to a marketing company first and they're going to shoot those out to, to, to, uh, many institutions and, um, not necessarily even institutions that many, um, mortgage firms and, um, they're going to, uh, continue to market you, um, sometime in many cases, um, After you make a decision, even if you tell them, no, I'm not interested, they're going to continue to market you because your name is out there in that marketing queue.

And so what we would get is you could actually enroll in one of these firms that presented themselves as, hey, this is a great place for you to get a mortgage, get your quotes for free, et cetera, et cetera.

We would then get lists of these people that signed up for this, and then you could contact them on them.

And the thing is, we had, say, 15 different lenders that we could go through, so we could give them 15 different offers if we wanted to from from different perspectives and stuff.

Now, we we try to do things above board and we didn't spam people as far as that goes.

But that doesn't mean that there's not companies out there that does that constantly.
