Bringing a new baby home is a monumental milestone, but the period after birth is often met with startling silence. Welcome to the fourth trimester—a beautiful yet overwhelming season. If you're…

I love that you have resilience in the title, honestly, because I don't think we talk about resilience, certainly in the context of the fourth trimester, nearly enough.
Well, that's such a good point, right? Because having a baby, bringing a new baby home, I mean, it's a huge transition.
And I'll, I'll tell you sort of on the other side of it, as a mom of 18-year-old twin boys-
... my husband and I weren't fully equipped with what it would actually mean, but we kind of just settled in and did it, and that was a whole journey in itself, and I think everybody's journey looks different.
So I love what you're, what you're talking about here in terms of equipping folks with the tools, practical strategies to optimize their wellbeing within their own unique context as a new parent, whatever that looks like for them.
It's this unique moment in time, and then it's different for every parent and their own experience.
And so hopefully everyone listening takes that away as like this is just, like, a meta comment I hear, like, there's no right way to do this, [laughs] and it is gonna be different for everyone.
And so what I'm gonna share is gonna be something that you can take away and think about this discussion and make it right for you, for what's right for you and your family.
There's no perfect formula that anyone can follow of, like, 10 steps to perfection.
Strategies, tools that we can put out there will be applied, implemented in different ways, will look different for everybody.
But the fact is there are sort of foundational tools, strategies that we can all put into practice, have at the ready as we're making this monumental transition into parenthood.
