Remember The Game? #378 - Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon

Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon.

It is the last game of the Luigi's Mansion trilogy for me.

We covered the original Luigi's Mansion way back on Remember the Game 177, like, four years ago, and I played Luigi's Mansion 3 back when it dropped on the Switch a couple of years ago, and I believe there's a review of that in our Expansion Pass archives over on Patreon.

And I really, I really liked them both, more than I thought I would, quite frankly.

Uh, so I was stoked to finally finish the trilogy and play the third one, and this one's pretty good, too.

Um, the whole series is solid.

I don't think there's a bad game in the Luigi's Mansion trilogy.

This one is a lot more linear than the first, and I think it's lacking a little bit of the personality of the third, and I'm a little bit mixed on some of the changes they made this time.

Uh, and I will say, despite the fact that I like the Luigi's Mansion trilogy, I still wish they would just give Luigi his own fucking platformer, and that Luigi U doesn't count or whatever the fuck it was called.

It is fun, but it doesn't count.

I want just a ...

Like, I w- like, these are so much better than Mario is Missing, but I still want just a straight up Mario is Missing Luigi platformer.

But beggars can't be choosers.

We're running around old vacuur- old, old mansions, vacuuming up ghosts.

Uh, this was 12 or so hours not wasted.

I think it was a fun game.

Looking forward to reviewing it.
