What inspired you to get into politics, and why did you decide to run for our county board?
So in the late spring of this year, Jack Lauderman, who was on the county board at that time and who is also my neighbor who I've known for years and years, decided to resign for some health concerns.
And honestly, at first I was unsure of what all being on the county board entailed.
But after talking to some other people and some neighbors, they thought I'd be a good fit.
And so that's when I decided to go ahead and step in and fill his shoes and take on that responsibility.
