Minor bugs that drive us mad, app blasts from the past, smart home infrastructure, and our non-car navigation systems. #### Guest Starring: James Thomson…
Sarah BickertonGuestJames ThomsonHostMB BischoffGuestWell, let's get this masquerade ball rolling with our first topic, which is from me.
Are there any really minor bugs in an OS or an app that annoy you more than is actually reasonable? MB, what is your pet platform peeve?
But the one that comes to mind is in an app that very few people probably on this program or listening to this program use.
And the problem you see with Hercules is that when you are in a laundry room using this app to pay for your laundry and you switch from wanting to pay for the washer to the dryer, the dropdown is completely cut off.
I think my annoyance is acutely reasonable in every circumstance, no matter how minor the bug.
I was thinking about this this morning after I dropped off my kid at school, and my wife sent me a text message.
and there's no audio and this happens all the time where like i can get media audio in carplay but i can't get siri i can't hear siri and siri doesn't understand me something about the way the car is routing the microphone and stare and like speaker stuff it just it doesn't work until i i have to like hard reset the radio in my car which i don't want to do while i'm driving around and it just made me so frustrated because like well this feature is totally and utterly useless i I will say MBs reminded me of another pet peeve.
One of the many, and the fact that there are many is itself a pet peeve, parking apps that I have to deal with.
I run into this loop where I try to add a card and it's like, you can't add that card.
I ended up in this bizarre feedback loop where I could not pay the $2 or whatever for parking on the street in one of the nearby towns.
