I've used a lot of temporary electric and permanent electric fence over the years, and it is a lot of labor.

There's a lot of things that you have to constantly manage with electric fencing to be able to move your animals around.

And really, the point of this is to be able to move the animals and graze them in certain areas and move on, allowing that land to recover.

With temporary electric fence or permanent fence, You can do that, but only to just a very small degree compared to what I would like to do.

Because we've seen the results of being able to move the herd a lot, higher animal impact, longer recovery periods.

It's undeniable that that has a huge benefit on the land, the animals, and ultimately carrying capacity increases and profit increases as a result.

It could take all day and then you got to go spend another day taking it down when you're done and you still have barely scratched the surface of what you're trying to do.

Anyways, that's why I wanted to be on the cutting edge of virtual fencing with bison.
