Rob goes deeper on why some are boycotting the League Of Women Voters. Indivisible is action spreading their hate in Battle Ground while using Antifa tactics. And interesting results, or lack thereof…
So the League of Women Voters is catching a little heat this week because of candidate Brian Scholl, who just said, nope, I'm not going to participate in this facade anymore.
I know that they have a rich heritage of helping women's rights, women voters, which is really important history.
But somewhere along the line, they – their leadership team has decided to kind of walk away from that heritage or to tarnish it by becoming so political, by becoming so partisan.
In Brian Scholl's letter to Clark County today, he just pointed out his experiences in saying that when he was there for the primary, you know, these soundbite questions were not really – helpful in the sense of for voters.
But the bigger issue is as he sat in the audience, he heard League of Women Voter members talk openly about wishing that the president of the United States would harm himself.
But this isn't the only example, because many have kind of tried to rush to cover up.
And it's a little bit, it feels a little bit like a gaslighting, where it's like, don't pay any attention to what's happening outside of the candidate forums.
But over the last year or so, The League of Women Voters in Clark County, they put out statements vilifying federal law enforcement, ICE, anti-ICE basically statements and really making pretty ugly accusations about what they're doing.
They attended and participated in the No Kings event that Indivisible holds, which I have made it really clear what Indivisible is all about.
So here's an organization that prides itself in getting people to participate in the democratic process.
They actually earlier this year were encouraging voters not to participate when it came to a state initiative, basically telling voters, don't sign it.
