Here's an idea that your insurance broker has yet to think of.
Imagine if you could take out a policy for the high holidays.
So if you go to shul on Rosh Hashanah, and you put in a prayer for a particular salary, and then during the year it doesn't pan out the way you requested, the policy would then kick in to cover the difference.
Pretty amazing idea, huh? Not so much.
Our relationship with Hashem, our trust in Hashem, is not supposed to be a best-case scenario, plan A.
Before we entered our covenant with Hashem, there were no prenups.
Our relationship with Hashem is not sophisticated.
It's simple, eternal, unqualified, unconditional.
