**\*\*\*Sensitive Content: Discussion of Suicide\*\*\*** If this recording raises any questions or concerns for yourself or about someone you know, we have included the Australian governments list of…
The reason I picked this album is because they were a bit of a gateway for me into some heavier music.
things.
They're Australian and it's been really good over the years to be able to go and support them and go to shows and feel the energy of that crowd and like as a teenager that was really formative memories
for
me with this band so knowing how much you know about heavy music in general I found it quite interesting that you hadn't really yeah touched on kind of all.
They're in a very long list of bands That I know that if I listen to, I would enjoy just based off of people that I know that do listen to them and like sort of who they tour with and everything like that.
Yeah.
But I find myself like I have to very intentionally go and
listen to it.
Yeah.
And I sort of find myself more directed towards something current.
Sure.
Yeah.
for discovery rather than
going oh there's these bands that have been around forever that i should listen to it's like oh there's an album that this fresh new band has just dropped we're going to be around for the next 20 years that i can sort of get off the ground yeah it's like
the investment factor is like it's kind of like with you showing me straight from the path and me going like
well it's like i can go back and listen to them Yeah,
but there's no rush.
There's no urgency behind it because I don't have to feel like I'm going to miss out on the next show because there is no next show.
That's pretty much it, yeah.
But I've been forced into it, so
here we go.
Try to sound a bit less excited next time.
Yeah, now coming in, I did know one Carnival song.
