No Time To Die... 5 years on

Well, Rob, for you, though, you've seen it at the cinema.

Did you see it twice at the cinema?

I haven't watched it again until today.

And I'm only halfway through, in truth.

So much has gone on, like you say, Tom, but so much hasn't.

There's an awful lot to say in that respect.

I think the movie itself is a huge matter of taste.

You know, it's what you want out of both the movie but also out of your James Bond.

And I think it comes down also to who is your James Bond? You know, the fact that we're still five years on and I know things have moved forward and are moving apace behind the scenes, certainly where Amazon and the next production are concerned.

But...

My overwhelming thought is just what a state this left the entire franchise in, really.

And the more that we've looked into it and the more we've spoken with people and the more we've interviewed people in the years since, the more it seems to have been confirmed that this left the entire franchise in complete discombobulated disarray.

And that obviously translated to the fan base as well.

You mentioned the fan base.

We did a post, I think, a few days ago when it was the actual proper fifth anniversary.

And I think we just asked the question, what are your thoughts? A bit like what we're doing tonight.

What are your thoughts five years on? It must be 95% plus who are not just negative, absolutely disgusted and hurt, I think, by the film.

And it does make it worse that...

That's sort of been left in limbo with no thoughts of what to do.

Like we say, we're in this weird area at the moment, aren't we, where soon we'll have some big news to cover.

But it's felt like an age just worrying, first of all, that Eon had no interest in reviving James Bond.

It left us with a dead end.

Now, it can be seen as a good thing now because Amazon, of course, take over.

with no Daniel Craig, and they don't have to continue that arc.

So they definitely have a fresh start.
