And there is someone evicted, a new HOH (Head of Household) and a new POV (Power of Veto) winner in the Big Brother 28 house. The big news today is the elimination of Haley Thogmartin from Big Brother 28, a result which didn't come as a surprise given her lack of allies. The Head of Household (HOH) competition presented a potential game shakeup, but Drew Campbell emerged as the winner, disappointing fans hoping for a shift in power dynamics. What we didn’t see on the last episode of Big Brother on CBS was the emotional goodbye messages to Mallory Aurichio, with Barrett Pfeiffer and Melody Morris expressing deep regret over her eviction. Drew Campbell's message, however, was performative, considering he had betrayed her with his vote. Mallory's exit interviews shed light on the house dynamics, with Drew being one of the most disliked people in the BB-28 house and Melody and Barrett expressing their fury at him. The new Big Brother HOH, Drew Campbell, nominated Taylor Brown, LaTrice "LaLa" Verrett, and Yash Patel, sparking controversy as these are the remaining minorities in the house. It is speculated that Drew made these nominations under the influence of Rick Devens and Angela Murray, a move which may tarnish his reputation among fans. Belynda also talks about cast reaction to the low-rent area that CBS allocated to the Big Brother alums for the 1000th episode, leading to disappointment and outrage among the alums.
