And so that gradually progressed.
Um, as I was still living in sober living, I mean, I would come home at like 3 AM to this place after work.
Um,
so hang on, let me pause you.
Cause some people out there right now are thinking, well, it's sober living, right? Sober living.
Yeah.
Uh, and you're what's going through your head is like, okay, I'm about to go to the grove.
Did anything, and I know this was a while ago, but did anything come across your mind that like, maybe this isn't a good idea?
At first it did.
After a while, I just didn't care.
But at first, yeah, I mean, I felt ashamed.
I, you know, I felt I had messed up completely.
I will say during this period, I had started really getting myself into the program.
I mean, comparative to what I was, obviously comparative to me now, it's a lot different.
At first it was a little bit of shame, but then after that, I was just worried about not getting caught.
And then after the first month of nothing from anyone there, you know, no drug tests, no breathalyzer, um, no, nothing.
I realized I probably wasn't going to get caught
and then it just became fun.
And then it became not fun after a bit, but.
Yeah, I mean, not a lot went through my head, really.
So you stayed in that sober living for a year, and the last six months of being in that sober living, let's call it, you were drinking.
Yes, and using.
And you never got caught.
Never.
