Your book begins, and we need to begin in a particularly dark place, which is the story of Anders Breivik.
Now, that is a name that I suspect will be familiar to some people, but just lurking in the back of their mind.

Uh, as you say, most people will probably remember this was a particularly shocking case of far-right terrorism in Norway, where Anders Behring Breivik, a Norwegian man in his 30s, set off a bomb in the government quarter in Oslo and then drove out to Utøya, an island, where he shot at kids at a political summer camp and altogether killed 77 people, injured many, many more.
We would be, I think, universally horrified at it, but we would move on because we would simply dismiss this person as what he was, a psychopathic, cold-blooded killer.
But in advance of his atrocity, he published a massive, quote-unquote, manifesto, didn't he? And that's why he is just a little bit different.
